Established in the year 1985, Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS) has been in the forefront of addressing national concerns in the areas of Disaster Response, Social Development and Educational Initiatives. Having its head office in Pune, BJS is a non-political, non-profit, professionally managed Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) with a nationwide footprint working towards the benefit of all.
Over the years of its existence, BJS has practiced and perfected its approach and processes in the chosen areas of its work. It has rich and multi-dimensional experience of working at the grassroots as well as contributing to policy-level thought processes and decision making. BJS has worked with Central and many State governments and NGOs to implement many of its projects.

The college was established in 1995 under the Wagholi Educational Rehabilitation Centre (WERC) in order to rehabilitate disaster affected children for higher education after Latur and Killari earthquake. With its affiliation to the Savitribai Phule Pune University, the College continues its journey towards providing excellent services in the field of Higher Education and overall development of the students. The college has been accredited 'B' by the NAAC of UGC in the year 2014.
Based in the progressive city of Pune, the college campus spreads across 5000 sq. mts. An attractive building with four stories, airy, well equipped and well- furnished class rooms/ laboratories to carve the pillars of nation through higher education by inculcating basic values and holistic development of our students.

Established in the year 1995 under the visionary leadership of Bharatiya Jain Sanghtana, our college has grown steadily from a modest beginning into a vibrant and progressive centre of higher education. Over the years, the institution has expanded its academic horizons by offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Applications, along with a Research Centre in Commerce that promotes advanced learning and a spirit of inquiry.
Our college is permanently affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and is recognized under Sections 2(f) and 12(b) of the UGC Act. Guided by our institutional vision, “Exploring Youth Capabilities for Social Service,” we firmly believe that education should go beyond classrooms and examinations.
